Ask a question:

How to register my Torpedo Studio?

Solution

The Torpedo Remote software and an online computer are required to register your Torpedo Studio on your Two Notes account.

Here are the instructions to follow:

  1. First, download the Torpedo Remote setup here and install it.

  2. Connect your device via USB and launch the Torpedo Remote.

  3. You should arrive on the Welcome Window.
If you do not have a Two Notes account, press Sign Up.
If you already have a Two Notes account, press Sign In.

  4. You will then be asked whether you want to register your device on your account or not. Press Register to do so.

  5. Your Torpedo device is now registered on your Two Notes account. The license file and your Two Notes cabinets files will be automatically downloaded on the computer. When this operation is finished, a message window will inform you that the registration has succeeded.

  6. Follow the firmware update procedure if your device firmware is out of date.

If you want to use to login to your Remote on an offline computer, here are the extra steps to do:

- On the online computer you just used to register your device:

  1. Save on a USB key or an external hard drive the license file contained in the confirmation email as well as the Torpedo Remote setup file if the software is not yet installed on your offline computer.

  2. Go then to the following folder:
      PC 32-bit: C:\Program Files\Two Notes Audio Engineering\
      PC 64-bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Two Notes Audio Engineering\
      Mac OS: Library/Application Support/Two Notes Audio Engineering\
and copy also the "Cabinets" folder on the USB stick.

    - On your target computer

  3. Plug now your USB key and launch the Torpedo Remote setup file if the Torpedo Remote is not yet installed.

  4. Paste the "Cabinets" folder from the USB key to the same place on your target computer:
    PC 32-bit: C:\Program Files\Two Notes Audio Engineering\
    PC 64-bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Two Notes Audio Engineering\
    Mac OS: Library/Application Support/Two Notes Audio Engineering/

  5. Connect your Torpedo device on this computer and launch the Torpedo Remote.

  6. On the Welcome window, click on the "Sign In" button, then on "Activate offline".

  7. Type in your personal info for validation, and browse your USB stick for the Torpedo license file.

  8. Here you are, you can now use Torpedo Remote on your offline computer!
