Setting Up MIDI Control with OPUS
OPUS features a MIDI input for full MIDI control of the pedal’s editable parameters via compatible MIDI controllers and switchers. In order to configure OPUS’s MIDI capability, please follow our guidelines below.
First, connect the MIDI OUT of your controller/switcher to OPUS using the supplied mini jack converter cable. OPUS’s editable parameters can be controlled via Control Change MIDI messages and Presets through Program Change MIDI messages. To view the full MIDI mapping chart for OPUS, please review the following link.
The provided MIDI to mini jack cable is a Format A cable; the same specification as that used by BOSS® and Korg® cables - please be advised that brands including Novation® and Arturia® use Format B cables.
Controllers compatible with conventional MIDI norms and protocols are all compatible with OPUS in accordance with sending PC and CC messages.
