License activation issues with Torpedo Remote v4
The registration of Torpedo hardware requires the creation of a Two Notes account that will lead to the generation of a unique, personal license. This has to be done from a computer connected to the Internet.
If, during the activation of your account, you get a message telling you that a field is wrong or does not match the license information, please check first your last license generation email you received from Two Notes. This email is sent when you create your personal account, and everytime a modification is done to your license (for example, after you buy one or several cabinets).
At the top of the message you will find all the information you need to activate the license. These fields are case-sensitive, so please make sure to fill them exactly as they are written in the email.
If the activation still doesn't work, please follow the steps:
- Close the Torpedo Remote.
- Go to the directory:
- On a PC 32-bit: C:\Program Files\Two Notes Audio Engineering\Licenses
- On a PC 64-bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Two Notes Audio Engineering\Licenses
- On Mac OS: /Library/Application Support/Two Notes Audio Engineering/Licenses - Delete the contents of the directory
- Go to the Two Notes License Manager at this address:
http://store.two-notes.com/index.php?controller=tnLicenses
And select " Renew your Torpedo license."
A confirmation email will be sent to you will the license file enclosed. - If your Torpedo Remote is connected to the Internet (online mode):
- Start your Torpedo Remote. A Welcome window is going to appear on screen.
- Press "Sign In".
- Enter your Two Notes account personal details summed up in the last email you received.
- The license file and the Two Notes Cabinets are going to be automatically downloaded and the Remote should now be ready for use.
If your Torpedo Remote is not connected to the Internet (offline mode):
- Copy your new license file enclosed in the email you received on an external hard drive or USB stick, and copy that file on your offline computer .
- Launch Torpedo Remote. A Welcome window is going to appear on screen.
- Press "Sign In".
- Enter your Two Notes account personal details summed up in the last email you received.
- Load your license file.
- The activation should be complete and the Torpedo Remote should now be ready for use.
If the activation still fails, please contact the support through the Help Desk and join the RemoteLogFile.txt file that you will find at the following location :
- PC 32-bit: C:\Program Files\Two Notes Audio Engineering\Torpedo Remote
- PC 64-bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Two Notes Audio Engineering\Torpedo Remote
- Mac OS: /Library/Application Support/Two Notes Audio Engineering/Torpedo Remote or /Library/Logs/
